London, 30 January – Ethical Corporation and The Climate Group today announced a partnership for the Responsible Business Summit New York 2019.

The partnership will provide The Climate Group with a multi-media platform to share its and its members’ leading work through the initiatives RE100 (renewable power), EP100 (energy productivity), EV100 (electric vehicles) with Ethical Corp’s global community.

As part of the partnership, Amy Davidsen, North America Executive Director at The Climate Group, will lead the Global Goals Collaboration Keynote at the event. Ethical Corporation will also benefit from exposure of its event to The Climate Group’s networks.

Amy Davidsen, North America Executive Director, The Climate Group, said: “Limiting global warming to 1.5 degrees Celsius requires collaboration from across the board – businesses, governments and cities must come together to deliver a clean energy future. I’m excited to speak alongside Unilever and Mars, Inc. at the Responsible Business Summit. As part of our global leadership initiative RE100, these leading companies are committed to sourcing 100% renewable power for their global operations – setting an example for the private sector to follow.”

“We are excited to enter this new partnership with The Climate Group as we believe our combined efforts can help accelerate the progress and understanding of the need for business to take the lead in addressing climate impacts,” explains Liam Dowd, managing director at Ethical Corporation.

“Increasingly we’re seeing businesses, NGOs, Governments and associations create coalitions to deliver meaningful impacts on society and the environment. It’s only right we continue to build new partnerships to help support businesses on this quest. Our partnership will look to leverage Ethical Corporation’s New York event and magazine publication with The Climate Group’s experts and global connections to showcase the climate action The Climate Group and its business members are delivering,” says Liam.

The partnership allows The Climate Group’s business members to benefit from discounted attendance at The Responsible Business Summit New York in March.
