Job Description:
Acre has been engaged by an organisation leading in the development of the circular economy agenda. This organisation delivers projects across the EU, working with retailers, local authorities and the agriculture sector to protect natural resources and minimise waste. We are looking for a project manager with experience in managing a project from conception to completion for a fixed term contract until the end of June 2016.
The project manager will ensure that all activities are tracked and reported in line with the project deliverables and resource availability.
You will be:
- Managing multiple projects, leading on all relevant processes within the project development cycle (including project funding, scope, tenders, budgets, reporting and closure)
- Communicating expectations to project sponsors and external stakeholders, as well as resolving any issues which may arise
- Working with internal and external stakeholders to develop presentations, bids and key account functions
- Writing project reports
The successful candidate will have project management experience, ideally with knowledge of resource efficiency and environmental issues / impacts. You will be able to simultaneously manage multiple projects and budgets, be an excellent problem solver and be able to effectively engage with varying stakeholder groups. You will also have a strong understanding of business drivers.
