Job Description:

Acre has been engaged by one of the UK's leading Airport Operators to hire a Group Social Responsibility and Public Affairs Manager, to join the Corporate Affairs team. The role will be based in London with UK-wide travel.

Reporting directly to the Corporate Social Responsibility Director, you will be responsible for supporting and delivering on key aspects of the CSR strategy to ensure the organisation retains its industry leading status.

You will be responsible for:

  • Monitoring and overseeing the implementation of the Group's CSR strategy and regular reporting of performance against objectives

  • Working closely with the External Affairs teams and other key stakeholders across the business to ensure the CSR strategy is in line with local priorities

  • The preparation of written communication materials, speeches and briefings to support the successful delivery of the Public Affairs stakeholder Engagement Programme

  • The development and implementation of stakeholder awareness campaigns, as required; acting as a confident and credible ambassador for the business

To be considered for this position you will need to have knowledge of applying CSR in a large organisation, CSR standards and certifications, and be educated to degree level.

You will also need to:

  • Have excellent organisation skills, with close attention to detail

  • Be a strong written and verbal communicator, with exceptional stakeholder engagement skills and be an effective team worker

  • Be tenacious with the ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines on complex issues

  • Have knowledge of the aviation or transport sectors (desirable)
