Job Description:

Acre has been engaged by one of the world's leading manufacturers of pharmaceutical products and technologies to identify an Ethical Compliance Program Manager to join their dynamic Ethical Compliance team.

The main focus of the role is to deliver the company's Ethical Trade policy and procedures, and to promote ethical practices across the business as part of a global team. You will do this by:

  • Liaising with suppliers to deliver and drive the UK Ethical Trade Policy and standards across the UK global supply base

  • Reporting on the progress of supplier compliance status and ensuring non-conformance close out, as well as conducting supplier audits and assessments

  • Ensuring the supplier SEDEX data site is maintained and up to date

  • Working with UK & Global retail customers and various cross functional teams

  • Developing and delivering training programmes and driving continuous improvement programmes across the UK global supply chain

  • Providing data to the Ethical Compliance and Sustainability Manager for the global CSR Report

You will need to have previous experience using Sedex and managing ethical compliance programmes across supply chains to be considered for this role. You will also have:

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and build relationships at all levels, as well as a strong customer focus

  • A professional demeanour with the ability to work to tight deadlines

  • An ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively

  • An aptitude for learning and staying at the forefront of the Ethical and Social Compliance arena

  • A continuous improvement mind-set and a desire to achieve results
