CARE believes that the economic empowerment of women is core to overcoming poverty and social injustice and it is a primary focus for our 2015-2020 global strategy. Our team is recognised across international NGO’s, global institutional donors, including DFID and USAID and leading foundations, as well as the private sector, providing leadership in developing and delivering innovative models for Women’s Economic Empowerment.

We are currently strengthening our team and are recruiting an extraordinary Business Manager to help us turn our strategy into a success empowering 30 million women economically.
Working directly with the Director of Women’s Economic Empowerment, the Business Manager will develop and oversee the roadmap for the global strategy for the Women’s Economic Empowerment programme including setting high level milestones and KPIs.

About you

Our ideal candidate will combine their experience in project and budget management as well as systems creation that will help multiple teams to deliver planned progress against targets, and belief in the importance of economically empowering women. An experienced manager you will manage three staff members and create a high performing team that delivers quality support and leadership across CARE.
