Tapart News and Art that Talks reject Wal-Mart, Clinton and Gore - Tapsearch Com Editor, 14 Dec 2007
President Clinton with Al Gore as his VP steered the passage on NAFTA and GATT unfair trade agreements. It was bad enough that the Maquiladora factory program opened the door to the "dirty manufacturing" in Mexico and other parts of the world but the new Free Trade agreements at tools of Globalization consummated the use of desitute workers in terrible environments for the workers themselves and for the total world environment. There are walls in the sky to stop the flow of dirty emmissions.
Wal-Mart represents the ultimate as a distributor of products made in all sorts of horrible human and environmental conditions.
How can Ethical Corporation pass on these lies. It contradicts the definition of "ethical". Perhaps you should change your name to something else.

ShipGreen a new software company in Colorado has a program that determines the cost to the environment in terms of domestic shipping in the USA.
This is the beginning to lllustrate the excessive damage to the environment due to long haul ocean, air, train and truck shipping.
The energy saving light bulb is and example. It consumes 8000 miles of long haul shipping energy plus the same in protective packaging required for the trip.
If just took this terrible assault on the environment just with all the products going to Wal-Mart, we would a cleaner earth automatically.

Ridiculous list! - Friedrich Grosser, 9 Jan 2008
1) This is a ridiculously Anglo-American / Western list! Central and Eastern Europe? Asia? Africa? Latin America? - No ethical activities going on? Just start to read newspapers and to watch TV in other languages than English and you will be surprised....
2) It is easy to argue that if the largest companies that demonstrate negative ethical behavior (esp. Wal-Mart) change a little bit, it will have big impact - this still doesn't make them ethical corporations.
