The 6 judges for this year’s Awards have chosen the select few winners and all will be revealed on Monday 29th of September 2014

Ethical Corporation, London (September 25th, 2014)

After a long and meditated procedure, the shortlist has now been cut down to just winners and highly commended. It has been a very hard process for all of the judges to decide the Winners as all nominees have performed exceptionally well over the past 12 months.

“Picking the best out of such a committed group of companies was never going to be an easy task” says a representative of academia at the judging committee Airs Vrettos, Director, Open Programmes, University of Cambridge.

Head of Environment and Sustainability at Jaguar Land Rover Fran Leedham shared the same feelings as Aris and commented on her judging experience "it is an honour to be asked to judge these awards and the standard of submissions has been extremely high. All companies are pushing forwards on the sustainability agenda and the winners are truly deserving of their award.”
One of key findings of the judging process was that all of them agreed on sustainability becoming mainstream in business:

“We reviewed a solid list of nominations which individually and collectively have shown that responsible business is no longer an exception, but a clear indicator of success in the corporate world” says Christine Diamente, Head of Brand and Corporate Sustainability, Alcatel-Lucent

Echoing Christine, and perhaps, reconfirming the recent Climate Change talks director of fundraising at Oxfam GB Tim Hunter confirmed that “it [Responsible Business Awards] provides excellent evidence that more and more business is making a meaningful and substantive contribution to sustainability and the creation of a future in which everyone has a stake and chance to prosper."

The judges would like to thank all entrants and participants and express their support in their challenging journey.

The Winners of the Awards will be announced on Monday 29th September at the glamorous Awards Ceremony. There are a limited number of places still available for the night dinner and celebration.
