Findus Group, one of Europe’s largest food groups, has appointed Ian Hagg as corporate social responsibility director, a newly created role. Hagg will report directly to newly appointed corporate affairs director Toby Nicol. Hagg was previously head of social policy at British Gas and an issues manager at Shell UK.

After seven years as managing director of Golder Associates in the UK, Julian Jones has stepped down. Belfast-based Mark Gilligan has been chosen as his successor.

Jennifer Klie has joined BrownFlynn as director of operations in the company’s sustainability training and education division, BrownFlynn Learning.

Socially responsible investment house Ecclesiastical Investment Management, has appointed Neville White as a senior SRI analyst, to expand Ecclesiastical’s SRI research capability. White’s role will be to support the fund management team in its ethical research and screening. He was previously manager for governance and ethical investment at CCLA Investment Management for 13 years.

Leena Wokeck has been appointed director of the Asian Center for Corporate Social Responsibility at the Asian Institute of Technology in Thailand. Prior to moving to Bangkok in 2009 as an independent sustainability consultant, Leena worked at the GRI secretariat in Amsterdam, most recently working on the development and engagement of the global multistakeholder network.

Rainy River Resources in Canada has appointed Kyle Stanfield as director of environment and sustainability. Stanfield will be responsible for leading the environmental assessment of the Rainy River Gold Project near Emo, Ontario.
