CEOs from some of the world’s highest performing responsible businesses will gather in London in May to discuss sustainability and CSR strategy at Europe’s leading summit on corporate responsibility.

26 January 2011, London

The Responsible Business Summit returns for the 10th year, featuring over 60 speakers from leading responsible businesses, including 7 CEOs and one Executive Chairman.

These are Zein Abdalla, PepsiCo’s European CEO; Peter Bakker, TNT’s Global CEO; Richard Reed, Innocent Drinks’ Co-Founder; Laurent Abadie, Panasonic’s European CEO; Stefano Pessina, Alliance-Boots’ Executive Chairman; Neil Carson, Johnson Matthey’s Global CEO; Jeffrey Hollender, Seventh Generation’s Co-Founder and former President & CEO and Nick Bunker, Kraft’s UK & Ireland President.

Each CEO will focus on the hottest CSR issue facing their business in 2011. For instance, PepsiCo’s Europe CEO will look at how sustainability strategy is changing his company and why. While Innocent’s Co-Founder will focus on how a ‘good brand’ can deliver behaviour change.

Panasonic’s European CEO will explain what green innovation in technology actually means. And Kraft’s UK President will talk about the business drivers for sustainable agriculture in 2011, to name a few of the topics that will be discussed in the CEO panel.

The year’s summit agenda will look at how to close the gap between responsible business policy and performance.

Topics covered include how to embed CSR across the company, supply chain management issues, innovative stakeholder engagement, socio-economic impact measurement, how to boost social trust and environmental impact assessment through full product transparency.
