This keynote addressed the difficulties incurred when trying to engage investors in adopting a long-term vision and how these difficulties can be overcome

This panel recognized that engaging investors on sustainability can be challenging. However they are confident that contrary to what is commonly perceived, increased sustainable practice won’t require trade-offs in the long-run. The key is to engage with the right kind of investors who are also looking for a long-term partnership. The discussion indicates that it makes sense to invest in companies with good practice to ensure consistent long-term returns and studies back this up.
