This keynote demonstrates that businesses need to do more when it comes to upholding human rights than just being compliant. The session digs deep into the ways in which businesses can recognise and force remedy to human rights challenges

This session highlights the importance of collaboration when it comes to abolishing slavery and abusive labour practises. A key tip from this panel is that if businesses want to make a real impact then they need to look for suppliers who genuinely want to make a change and not just tick boxes. The supply chain needs to be traced and assessed right down to the bottom which involves looking at the second level of the supply chain as well. In less developed countries, big companies need to leverage their influence to get governments on board for change.
